Sydney Park on Alexandria’s western edge is a much-loved green space that encompasses 40 hectares. It’s popular for its off-leash dog area, multiple playgrounds and cycle paths, which connect to cycle ways throughout Alexandria and beyond to neighbouring suburbs and Sydney’s CBD.

Amidst all this are quiet, tree-lined streets which boast charming Victorian and Art Deco style homes and cottages. Combined with the warehouses that are being converted into private residences and shopfronts you have one funky inner-city suburb.

Neighbours

Local industry and the creative scene bring a lot of people to the neighbourhood, every day of the week. Working class folk who have long called Alexandria home live alongside professionals, DINKS (double income no kids) and mature empty nesters who have been moving into the area as gentrification proceeds.
