Luxe Woollahra wellness studio Bodylove Pilates has opened its doors, offering a state-of-the-art, architecturally designed studio and a diverse range of Reformer & Mat Pilates, Yoga, Barre, as well as a large schedule of Pre & Postnatal classes. After spending the past nine years living and breathing Pilates in New York, founder Ali Handley has now returned to Sydney to bring her method and world-class trainers to her new studio for a mindful burn. The gorgeous pastel-hued space overlooks the Luxe cafe (perfect for a post-class coffee) and has a calming energy to it, thanks to it's large arched windows that flood the place with natural light.

In case you needed another reason to visit the Paramount House complex (with its luxe hotel, trendy café and retro cinema) – their rooftop health club has just become another instant drawcard. The new concept space aims to provide a well rounded experience, and fosters everything from physical and mental health to social wellbeing. Their mantra is “come as you are, leave even better” – and after trying one of their yoga, meditation, boxing or strength classes, we promise you'll leave a picture of health.
Did we mention they have a dedicated health eatery too? Whether you’re exercising or not, The Kiosk serves breakfast, lunch and everything in between. Our tip: Sit outside on their sun-drenched terrace and soak up Surry Hills from above.

Pampering and working out go hand-in-hand at this Double Bay wellness boutique. The Shelter is exactly as the name suggests: a relaxing and welcoming oasis with a day spa-like ambience. It’s definitely not your average gym – here you’ll sweat in the rhythm based spin classes, rejuvenate in the infrared saunas and recover in freezing cold ice baths. The interiors are equally as unique, with natural wood accents, a minimal palette and greenery and trees inside (yes there are live trees inside). Post-workout, head to their in-house smoothie bar in their sun-drenched courtyard.

Best of all, you'll get 45 minutes to yourself: you can watch Netflix in the sauna, or just relax while reaping the benefits. The studio also runs restorative and yin yoga classes.
