As the morning chill fades, Sydney's bootcamps are ramped up and ready for action. So grab the girls and practice your burpees  – these are the Sydney bootcamps worth knowing about.

Whether you’re north or south side of the bridge, there’s most likely a Buf Girls bootcamp near you. With training sessions located in Newcastle, Balmoral, Bondi and Manly (just to name a few) these training sessions aim to build women’s strength and body confidence. They have an unlimited bootcamp access and you’re bound to make a few new girlfriends along the way, too.

A bootcamp tailored for women, Bondi Vixen helps Sydney’s east get stronger, fitter and leaner. With a studio in the heart of Bondi, there are a range of classes available, but the real results are seen at the Female Functional Fitness Group Training sessions on Bondi Beach each morning. This bootcamp includes a range of HIIT, weight training and boxing.

Want to train with the PTs who get Jess Gomes into shape? Gather a group of friends and book private outdoor training sessions. With a range of HIIT, weight and cardio training a few sessions a week will rapidly have you feeling strong. The sessions - most often held at Rushcutters Bay and the city – will set you back about $15 dollars each time, depending on group size.

She Fitness is an outdoor fitness program that caters solely to women. There are three class types; sweat specialises in fat burning, sculpt is for full-body toning and strike is the ultimate stress reliever, with each of them helping to achieve your fitness goals. All the workouts are 45mins and cater to all different age groups.

From Belmore Park in the CBD to Pirrama Park in Pyrmont there’s a variety of HIIT, weight training, boxing and cardio sessions. There aren’t as many classes but a weekly bootcamp membership will only set you back $25. Unlike many PTs, founder Robbie Hardy is an experienced boxer so if you can afford a one-on-one boxing session with him, do it. You won’t regret it.

Dangerously Fit

With a nod to its name, the six-week body transformation bootcamp pledges to have you dangerously fit - and will pay for your six weeks if you succeed. A popular and well-established fitness business, Dangerously Fit offers varied workouts each day lasting about 45 minutes. There are multiple training locations too, including Coogee, Maroubra, Bondi, Rushcutters Bay and Queens Park.

Train with a view. Legion Fitness Living holds regular bootcamps at some of the most glorious parks Sydney has on offer. From Milsons Point and Pyrmont to Rozelle and Rushcutters Bay there’s a variety of crossfit and boxing sessions available.
