The buzzing, down-to-earth venue is steps from the beach, and offers fish, seafood and sides to cater to all appetites. Every meal is made to order using fresh ingredients, and there tends to be a queue on warmer nights, but it’s worth the wait.

Everything’s made fresh daily, and it’s bound to keep you feeling full for hours.

Over in Randwick, Rell’s Kitchen has nailed the art of healthy eating. The family-friendly café focuses on creating yummy, nourishing food using the best produce they can find. Its ‘Healthy Jar’ is an Instagrammer’s treat, featuring seasonal fruits, natural yoghurt, honey, nuts and seeds in a mason jar. When lunchtime rolls around, the falafel wrap and haloumi burger hook hungry families and professionals alike. The café is also on Deliveroo.

The brainchild of a health coach, the café shines a spotlight on the benefits of broth, and it does it in a creative way. Along with steaming bowls of soup and chicken stock, it also offers a range of smoothies and raw treats you’d never guess contained bone broth.
