Salts Meat Cheese

Salts Meat Cheese is a mainstay on Sydney’s deli scene and it’s clear why. Italian born cousins and owners Stefano De Blasi and Edoardo Perlo know their stuff when it comes to…well, salts, meat and cheese! The deli is renowned for its extensive range of international produce, and also offers eat-in options at some stores – think woodfired pizzas, home cooked pastas and delicious platters.

The Deli Erskineville

A local’s favourite, The Deli Erskineville is where those in the know head to stock up on hard-to-find imported goodies. Cheese, artisan breads, antipasto, condiments, free range meats all hailing from places like France, Italy and Spain. But if you’re after something a little more local, they have home-grown favourites too.

Fourth Village Providore

Here, you will find floor to ceiling shelves packed with imported and local organic goods, olive oils and fresh produce sourced from their Hunter Valley farm. Stock up on an array of delicious international cheeses in their award-winning cheese room, or treat yourself at the trattoria-style restaurant. The menu changes in line with the seasons, and features the very best ingredients from the Fourth Village store.

Fratelli Fresh

Head to either their Alexandria or Potts Point branch for a selection of take-home gourmet products, including a carefully curated range of fresh produce, mouth-watering imported cheeses and delicious charcuterie. Comprising of a dining room, cookery school and wholesale store, Pasta Emilia is all about authentic Italian ingredients. They produce free-range of homemade biodynamic pastas and sauces, as well as offering a handpicked selection of essential ingredients – also featured on the menu of the upstairs café. Pasta Emilia’s signature truffle cream sauce is a must-buy.

Pasticceria Papa

Renowned for its range of Italian sweets (don’t go past their famous ricotta cannoli), this Italian bakery-come-deli also sees crowds gather each morning to stock up on home-baked breads, pizza slices, Sicilian style sandwiches and antipasti - so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Originally founded in Haberfield, Pasticceria Papa has now expanded to include branches in both Bondi and Five Dock.
