Located in Georges Heights, the Tea Room boasts views across Sydney Harbour, as well as the biggest selection of Ronnefeldts teas in the Pacific. The cakes, finger sandwiches and scones are served with tea, coffee, champagne or a cocktail.

Admire the chic interiors (featuring fresh flowers and baskets of fruit) on your way to the deck, and then feast on the sweet potato bowl with mushroom, poached eggs and smoked salmon, or the croissant French toast if you’re feeling indulgent.

Sitting pretty on the shoreline, the café is the place to go for a beachside brunch (get the blueberry pancakes or the egg tart), while the restaurant is a real treat come dinnertime. It’s French-influenced, and the set menu shines a spotlight on seafood: think octopus carpaccio, yellowfin tuna tartare, and slow-cooked ocean trout.

Plonk!

Overlooking the turquoise waters of Middle Harbour, Plonk! takes full advantage, with a sunny deck and a sandy stretch of beach, where kids go to play once they’ve scoffed down their meal. The restaurant dishes up breakfast and lunch daily, as well as dinner from Thursday to Saturday. The seafood themed menu is only fitting.
