Specialising in premium steaks, Kingsley's Steak and Crab House is a carnivore’s idea of heaven – though crustacean lovers are also very well catered to. Offering something a little different along the Woolloomooloo’s famed wharf, this steak house is a trendy hub with views to match.
Aki's Indian Restaurant

A casual harbourside hangout, The Frisco Hotel has 150 years of stories to tell and with an extensive cocktail menu to work your way through, you’ll have plenty of time to soak it all in. The Tilbury Hotel
Back in 2015, The Tilbury got a swish makeover that put it on the best-dressed list. The interiors are bright and fresh, with airy, open spaces and the new courtyard is another delight for design lovers. It has pops of bold colour, and its varied seating and laid-back vibe make it the perfect place to go for a sunny Sunday session.
With high ceilings, botanical wallpaper and wicker furniture, the restaurant has a chic French colonial vibe. But its piece de resistance is its lush terrace, which has panoramic views of the Sydney skyline. The menu is made up of small and large share plates, and the cocktail list is impressive, to say the least.
Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel
This enduring watering hole is an oldie but a goodie. Perfectly positioned, the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel has some impressive views over the harbour and Botanic Gardens. The bistro has classic pub food, while the courtyard and level one balcony have relaxed vibes.
LL Wine and Dine
The chic theme runs through LL Wine & Dine, from the inventive modern Asian menu and cocktail list to the Oriental décor. The food is a fusion of Japanese, South East Asian and Chinese cuisine, and bursts with flavour. There is bar and table seating, as well as an outdoor area and live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
This street-side trattoria serves up woodfired pizza the traditional way: thin base, crispy crust, and topped with the freshest ingredients. It only takes one visit to realise just how proud the staff are of their pizza-making, and so they should be. Score an outdoor seat if you can, and order a gourmet pizza (or handmade pasta).

For this eatery, the name says it all. Expect a variety of steamed, pan fried and gluten free dumplings and a long list of speciality and craft beers. Tucked away in Potts Point this small venue nails the basics, delicious dumplings, a small number of sides, and beer.
Helmed by Adam Wolfers (ex-Yellow, Bentley and Monopole) and Marc Demspey (ex-121BC and Cornersmith), the menu is an eclectic celebration of Eastern European, Middle Eastern and North African cuisine. And it’s downright delicious. Whatever you do, try nokedli (Hungarian dumplings) and the everything bagel, and finish with the tangelo poppyseed cake.
