Tucked away on Glenayr Avenue, this organic Mediterranean-style café serves up delicious plates of wholesome goodness in a minimalist Scandi setting. A Bondi local favourite – this place is teeming with beachside brunch goers every Saturday and Sunday – with a focus on organic, locally-sourced and clean-eating foods. If you’re on a health kick, this is the place to come.
The café itself is intimate, but the interiors are bright, open and airy, so you don’t feel like you’re cramped in, even when it’s busy. There are also a few tables outside, which are perfect for people watching and an early morning brew.
Food is healthy, delicious and elegantly presented – plates are nothing short of whimsical, with bright colourful pops of beetroot-cured salmon, smashed avocado, and pretty scatterings of edible flowers.
Prep your taste buds for a hit of wholesome goodness, with must-order menu items including the likes of Persian avo smash served on sourdough rye with sun-kissed tomatoes, feta and salsa verde, Turkish baked eggs with zucchini, roasted tomatoes, mint labneh and capsicum hummus toast, and Huevos Rancheros, served with sliced lamb sausage, cumin spiced tomato, lemon glazed beans, avocado and feta.
Lighter bites include Coyo chia bowls, wellness porridge and brioche eggs on toast, or for an instant health fix, order one of the fresh, flavoursome super bowls – the Mediterranean and rustic avo chicken are exceptionally good.
Smoothies, juices, coffees and kombuchas are perfect for early risers, but for those who’d like something a little stronger, there are a small selection of cocktails, spritz, wine and beers to choose from too.
Our advice? Get in early to secure a streetside table.
