Lune Lab

A unique set menu experience that flies under the radar, Lune Lab is a must-do for any foodies in Brisbane. Seated at a private bar overlooking Lune's climate-controlled raw pastry kitchen (known as The Cube), you'll be served three courses. Beginning with Lune's signature (and iconic!) traditional croissant, followed by an experimental sweet and savoury course. Champagne is an optional addition to your experience, otherwise, enjoy the full coffee and hot chocolate menu.

The set menu here is redeveloped every two months in order to best celebrate seasonal produce, so if you love your experience, you won't have to wait long to enjoy it again in a brand new way.

Gemelli Italian

Gemelli is renowned for bringing their personality, authentic cuisine and traditional Italian hospitality to the James Street dining scene. With a hearty banquet of sharing-style dishes, this may well be one of Brisbane’s best set menus. Primi (first plates) sees arancini and woodfired pizza arrive at your table, and secondi (seconds) spans melt-in-your-mouth meals like gnocchi, ragu and rigatoni bacio. Last but not least, gnocchetti is served for dessert, little morsels of fried pastry dusted in sugar and cinnamon and served with Nutella. You know where you’ll find us.

e’cco bistro

No matter what time of day you’d like to dine, e’cco bistro has a banquet option to suit! If you’re dining out for lunch, you can opt for the three-course choice that offers a range of flavourful plates that would put your packed lunch to shame (sorry). Or if you’re looking for a dinner date option, you can mix it up with the evening menu. You’ve got two choices for entree, main and dessert, so you can see where your cravings take you.

The Golden Pig

Take the overwhelm out of ordering and opt for a set menu at The Golden Pig for your next lunch or dinner outing! The banquet dishes at this Newstead restaurant offer a selection of nine seasonal plates, and they’re able to cater to most dietaries, making this a no-brainer for your next group dinner. You can also opt for a gluten-free or vegan/vegetarian set menu, to make your booking even easier.

Happy Boy

Happy Boy is bound to make anyone smile with their tasty banquet totalling just $45 per person. This bustling, rustic-chic venue is loved for its generous portions, locally produced Aussie wines on the menu and for their open attitude towards dietary restrictions. Ming Ming’s

Ensconced within the thriving Wilston Village, Ming Ming’s Kitchen is endlessly popular with the locals for its long and flavourful menu that’s packed with tasty bites. We checked in to see if they offered a set menu and its good news - they offer four banquet options, all under $100! Set A and B offer a mix of entrees and mains to satiate any appetite. There’s also a snack banquet (the banquet of dreams) and a vegan banquet for our plant-based pals.

Greca

Eating authentically Greek is easy in Brisbane, just make a reservation at Greca! The prime waterfront location adds to the ambience of this traditional-meets-modern taverna and the expertly curated menu is something special. Greca offers its patrons two set menus, the Full Greek and the Super Greek. The Super Greek adds on an additional two plates - a sizzling saganaki cheese and souvlaki. The Super Greek it is!

If you’re extra hungry and have some more room in the budget, you could also opt for the Yoko Feast at $95 per person.

Deer Duck Bistro

With a focus on foraged food, Deer Duck Bistro delights in a fine dining and degustation experience. This modern Australian and European restaurant is furnished with French Renaissance decor, old silver cutlery, crystal whiskey decanters and antique paintings. The food is just as curated and reminiscent of a work of art itself. They offer several degustation menus, with one being entirely vegetarian.

For an authentic Naples feast, visit this classic Italian restaurant in the heart of Fortitude Valley. You can visit Tartufo for a set menu experience for under $100 either for lunch or dinner. The lunch banquet menu plates up hot and cold dishes for $50 per person, or dine for dinner with the chef’s selection or the six-course pescatarian degustation.
