Possessing that elusive mix of grunge and glamour, Prahran is very much neighbouring South Yarra’s edgier younger sibling. Not only does local designer/stylist Lucy Fenton have an impeccable eye for style, but she has her finger on the pulse when it comes to navigating this vibrant Inner City enclave. We had a chat with the founder of homewares mecca Fenton & Fenton, to get her hit list of stylish places to dine, shop and hang out in Prahran and its neighbouring suburbs.

We don’t get the farmers market often but Prahran Market is great for all your fresh produce – including flowers for home and the store.
Grey Cells Green in Windsor is apparently the new vegan hot spot. I haven’t tried it yet but the girls at work tell me that the vegan lasagne is a must.
Outdoor places to workout
St Kilda Botanical Gardens – more so to chill out than work out.
