Golf Links Lane Walk

Keen sports fans and nature buffs alike will find much to love on this rambling 4.3-kilometre tour around two of Melbourne’s premier golf courses – Royal Melbourne Golf Course and Sandringham Golf Course. The stretch along Cheltenham Road is particularly scenic, bringing to mind a tree-lined country lane rather than an inner-city neighbourhood. With the walk winding up in Tjilatjirrin Reserve, there’s plenty of time to take it easy.

There’s nothing like an ocean view with your morning walk and the Bayside Coastal Trail offers up endless blue for as far as the eye can see. Stretching 17km from Brighton to Beaumaris, you can join the path for as long as you desire, taking in the beachfront mansions and palm-tree lined promenades. Just don’t forget to stop for ice cream.
