Rosalita's Bar & Liquor Store

Prim-and-proper Hawthorn East isn’t the kind of place you’d expect a rock’n’roll bar complete with jukebox, free pool and American cheeseburgers, but Rosalita's is about to change all that. Named after a Bruce Springsteen classic, the crew here is pouring local wines and eight rotating beers on tap including hard-to-find imported IPAs, limited-edition local brews and one of their longtime favourites, the Kentucky Breakfast Stout from Founders Brewing Co in Michigan. The 50-person venue is decked out in op-shop knick-knacks, plants and recycled timber, and also sports a bottle shop onsite that stocks rare spirits, low-intervention wines and craft beers sourced from across the world.
