Aida

Aida

One of the best restaurants in Albury Wodonga right now has got to be the new Mediterranean haven, Aida.

Named after owner Sarah's beautiful mother, who taught her and her siblings that food is a connection tool between people, this charming, light-filled spot sits in the heart of Albury.

Head on in for mezze style plates from the land and sea, that are colourful and flavoursome and fun. From fig saganaki to hummus served with lamb mince and pine nuts, charcoal chicken breast skewers with toum and pickles to whole grilled prawns, and large platters perfect for a family feast, you truly can't put a foot wrong when it comes to deciding what to order.

Sitchu Tip: Try the pavlova martini, for a little celebratory Australian touch. It's so good!

Take a trip to Europe via Albury with Yardbird a contemporary Australian restaurant and bar which focuses on bold flavours from Spain, France and Italy. Try the deep-fried capunti pasta with slow-roast onions, thyme, mushrooms, cavolo nero and baked taleggio, or go all in on the Black Angus steak cooked over the Mimbrasa Spanish charcoal oven, with caramelised shallots, horseradish and green peppercorn butter.

Din Dins

An Asian fusion kitchen and bar that's an eternal favourite amongst locals, Din Dins is one of the best restaurants in Albury Wodonga. Bring a group, because you're going to want to try one of everything on their share plate dominant menu. The fluffy bao buns, ranging from chicken karaage to slow cooked wagyu rib blade, are god-tier levels of good, and you'll love the sticky cauliflower, sweet and sour pork dumplings, and housemade potato cakes with Chinese chicken salt, sour cream and housemade chilli crunch.

The drinks list is a winner too, with a select array of local brews and wines alongside some delectable cocktails. Lychee martini, anyone?
